About the author

Scottie Futch is a former soldier of the United States Army. He served as an advanced field artillery tactical data system specialist (13 D) in the field artillery. This means that he made lots of coffee for people who earned a great deal more money than he did. Do not grieve for him, however. He also received plenty of exercise while sweeping the command tent during field exercises. Further, he became an expert in the art of combining hot sauce with the heater packs found in MREs in order to make homemade tear gas. Guard shifts were fun.
